Protect life and property: install a fire alarm system, the standard for every building

Woop woop, woop woop! The alarm that tells the people inside a building to get ready to evacuate a fire

Stop everything and move to the designated assembly point. Reduce the risk of losing both lives and property. A fire alarm system is a basic essential that every building has to have.

Here is how a fire alarm system works. When a fire starts or smoke appears, a smoke detector or heat detector picks it up and signals the fire alarm control panel. The panel then signals the alarm devices, warning by sound, by light, or by both (alarm bell, horn, speaker, strobe), so that people can be evacuated in time and loss of life and property inside the building is reduced.

The key components of a fire alarm system are:

1. Fire alarm control panel
• Power supply
• Battery back-up

2. Signal initiating devices
such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual stations, flame detectors, projected beam smoke detectors, gas detectors and key switches

3. Audible alarm devices
such as bells, horns, strobes, horn & strobe units and speakers

4. Other devices
• Remote annunciator
• Graphic annunciator
• Evacuation system (EVAC)
• Firefighter’s master telephone
