Traffic Log is built specifically to collect traffic data, so that the data can be used for other purposes such as traffic studies and research into how people use vehicles and roads.
Traffic Log runs 24 hours a day, detecting vehicles that pass through the detection area and recording data such as speed, lane, vehicle type and the date and time.
It takes detection data from microwave radar sensors capable of detecting high-speed objects, supports up to 100,000 vehicles per day, and processes and sends the data over the internet.
The traffic data can then be analysed and used to manage traffic in line with real conditions. Our traffic data system collects and analyses how vehicles are driven in the area, and provides useful traffic information to drivers based on what it collects.
