What can the installed system do?
It works in three groups: speed enforcement (Traffic Force), traffic violation detection (Traffic Sec) and traffic data analysis for planning (Traffic Log). Details are on the automatic speed enforcement system page.
How much road does one installation point cover?
The system uses Doppler radar and detects up to 120 metres from the installation point, covering up to 4 lanes at once, measuring speeds up to 250 km/h and classifying vehicles into 3 types.
Does the installed system work at night?
Yes. It detects and photographs vehicles at night as well, recording the vehicle image, licence plate, speed and the date and time of the offence as evidence that can be reviewed later.
